Hi there, I'm Sofia!
I have always loved watching animated movies and I wanted to learn how to make characters and the process of world building. I am inspired every day by films that are able to make people get in touch with their emotions and I hope to be apart of that creation one day!
I was born in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas but raised in Laredo, Texas. Art has always been a huge part of who I am from a young age. I knew I wanted to be a part of making films, but the only knowledge I had of creating was drawing on my sketchbook. This desire led me to enroll in the 3D Animation and Game Design department at the University of the Incarnate Word where I took a concentration in 3D Modeling.
While going from 2D to 3D had it's challenges, I know that I have chosen the correct path for me because the joy I get from creating characters and environments from scratch is all the fuel I need to keep going!
